About the Recipe

Sharing mayonnaise magic using @harvist_official Red Palm Oil. This Red Palm Premium Oil is cholesterol free and enhanced with Pro Vitamins A (Tocotrienols) and Vitamin E.

It�s the perfect ingredient to make our fun Red Mayonaise.
Even the pickiest eaters will be intrigued. I�m thinking of fried chicken with Red Mayonaise.

* 2 Egg Yolks ( free range )or 1 whole egg
* 1 Tbsp Lemon Juice
*1 Tsp Apple Cider Vinegar
*1 Tbsp Mustard
* 1/2 tsp Salt (i use Kosher)
* 2/3 Cup Premium Red Palm Oil
Options for flavour :
2 Tbsp Garlic Infused Red Palm Oil OR 1 Tsp Chili Infused Red Palm Oil


Toos : Usan e immersion blender or food processor.

1. Whisked or blend yolks in a tall narrow container for about 20 seconds.
2. Add mustard, apple cider, lemon jui,ce and salt and procesfor s another 20 seconds.
3. SLOWLY add the oil in tiny drop first and whisk continuously on high for 3-5 minutes.
(Noe : Tip The secretet to perfect mayonnaisese is to add the oil slowly. While the food processor running, add the oil like a thin stream and let the oil emulsifyfy then only add the remaining oil. If you dump all the oil at once, you have mayonnaise soup)
4. Once it starts to emulsify and form a thick sauce consistency, you can be less strict and slowly add in the remaining oil and you flavor preference (garlic/chili Red Palm Oil).
5. Lastly, taste and seasoned accordingly add salt or mustard to your liking.
6. Keep chill and should last 3-4 days.
Remedy & Tips :
So what to do if your mayonaise seems too thin and look like soup or hollandaise sauce ? Hey it happens to the best of us ???????
Tips :
Tips from Julia Child - Add 1 tsp of mustard and continue to whisk until it creamy again.
Another trick is replacing mustard above with egg yolk.
