Korean Creamy Garlic Bun

Garlic bread is one of the simplest recipes you could ever make, but it’s amazing how these simple ingredients can make something so delicious. This Korean cream cheese garlic bread is a popullar street food in Korea. Use Harvist Garlic Infused Extra Red Palm Oil to boost up the outlook with added nutrients.

INGREDIENTS

Bread (4-5 buns)

  • Bread flour 250g

  • Sugar 17g

  • Salt 4g

  • Yeast 3g

  • Full cream milk 135g

  • Butter 10g​

Cream filling

  • Cream cheese 100g

  • Whipping cream 100g

  • Sugar 18g

Garlic Topping

  • Minced Garlic 10g

  • Scallion 10g

  • Premium Garlic Infused extra red palm oil 40g

  • Salt 1g

  • Sugar 10g

  • Whipping cream 40g

DIRECTIONS

  1. . Knead all Bread ingredients into a mixer or bread machine until window panel stage. Let it rise for 1 hours.

  2. Mix cream ingredients with mixer until smooth then keep it in a pipping bag then refrigerated.

  3. After dough rise up, cut into 4 equal pieces, then shape into round, and let covered to proof another 20 mins.

  4. For Garlic topping, heat up a wok with Garlic Infused Extra Red Palm oil, saute garlic until fragrant then add all remain ingredients and mix well.

  5. Preheat oven 170°c and bake bread for 20mins. Egg wash (optional)

  6. Remove bread from oven and let it cool on the rack completely.

  7. Slice the cooled bun into 8 pieces, make sure that knife does not go all the way down.

  8. Fill the buns with soften cream cheese filling.

  9. Soak each bun with garlic butter topping.

  10. Bake it in a preheated oven 170°c for 15 mins then serve warm.
